Dishwater Lavender

Soaking up space, 

Caught in thick hairs 

Of ruddy green lace

Spilling over sink edge,

From up on high--

Dishes cascade

With misting reply:

Chilly blue morning

Watery scribe--

Here is the cleanliness

God spoke of my child.
