A short story by Kharma Gentner
There once was a lumber worker named Willy. Willy was silly, but still he took his birch biz seriously. Silly Willy chopped logs day after day, taking order after order from Chicago locals. One day, Silly Willy was approached by a bully, Big Billy, who builds buildings for the Chicago Bulls. Big Bully Billy beckoned that the Bulls want to buy birch to build their buildings, but they better be billed better than what Silly Willy was willing to bill. Big Bully Billy from the Bulls pulled Silly Willy up by his collar and gave him a holler to charge less dollars. But Silly Willy won’t give in so soon, will he?
So he shook his head and took his hand and looked away and booked a plan to get away and hit the crook as hard as he can to save the day. Bully Billy fell on the ground, looked around, made a growl, gave a scowl, stood back up, ran away, said he’s gonna rue the day, fist in the air, but Willy don’t care, cuz that’s not fair to lose a share of the birch bill Willy wants to bill Bully Bill. But Silly Willy, still he knows that all Billy needs is a bop on the nose. Billy talks rough, but he ain’t so tough; Willy called his bluff and said, “That’s enough!” So Silly Willy Williams will still bill Big Bully Billy to build the Bulls’ building with birch.
